Bell Tower Arts Journal Cover Submission

I placed in the top ten in the competition with this cover design for the Bell Tower Arts Journal. For this project, I aimed to represent the journal’s diverse range of media; writing, photography, and visual art. I began by taking a photograph and applying an oil painting filter in Photoshop, experimenting with the settings to achieve a visually compelling effect.

To enhance the design, I added an embossed effect to the title text, giving it a tactile quality. I also created a dynamic drip effect in Illustrator and used a clipping mask to integrate paper texture and typography seamlessly. I then brought all the elements together in InDesign to create a cohesive and polished layout.

This piece highlights my ability to blend various digital tools and techniques into a unified artistic vision.
